  • How Did You Know When You Knew? Listen (real audio)
    This show features the stories of folks looking back at the first signs of being gay: Pat in Chicago who came out in her 50s when her husband brought home a computer and she met a lover on-line while her husband was watching tv; Tony Sarabia tells of his coming out at 37 and how he balances time with his 3 boys and his newfound gay life; and Tom Truss gathers 3 generations of his family in his camper for a roundtable discussion and a look to the future as another family member's sexuality comes into question and is quickly hidden.

  • Coming Home Listen (real audio)
    This show features stories from the hearth of gay Americans: Aimee Pomerleau's inside look at 2 gay dads raising a daughter adopted from a man who died of AIDS; Dmae Roberts' radio diary of a young lesbian in Seattle who returns home to her parents and faces her lesbianism and drug addictions; and Paul Peninger visits his ancestral homeland of Tulsa Oklahoma as an honorary, at-large member of the "Society of Displaced Gay Okies."

  • Crossing Over Listen (real audio)
    This show features stories of transformations: An interview with a gay couple that splits up when one of the men quits his practise as a sex worker, enrolls in Exodus, and embarks on a stereotypical tour of heterosexuality; Aimee Pomerleau introduces us to a father who reunites with his daughter on the other side of his sex change to a woman; and Writer Louise Rafkin stands up to the straight dominated waves when she takes us surfing in California.

  • When Things Get out of Hand Listen (real audio)
    When chaos is king - this show features Anna Lengyel Nagy's story from Budapest, Hungary, about a lesbian couple: Zsuzsa falls in love with Ingrid, comes out to her family and is thrown out of her home. She then gets found out at work and is promptly fired. This is the story of the triumph of love in a deeply oppressive society; Tom Truss tells the story from of Buddha Boy - the man on the street in New Orleans who is obsessed with Tom's necklace and will do anything to get it - and what happens when Tom just can't say no; Gillian Kendall's tells of her disastrous relationship with a man and her burgeoning relationship with the Quaker woman with the gray eyes; and finally, Jeff Cotter's story of his amorous night in a borrowed van - and what happens when it pops out of gear and his date goes downhill.

  • Breaking Free Listen (real audio)
    Stories of emancipation: Aimee Pomerleau explores the lives of 2 gay Mormons: Scott and Joe. They were both on their missions when they had the rude discovery that they were gay which left them at odds with the church; writer Rebekah Shardy from Colorado Springs tells the story of her childhood love for Regina and how that wild part of her soul still longs to be free; and lesbian writer Kelli Dunham from Philadelphia tells the story of living in the Missionaries of Charity convent in Brooklyn and how she left after she was told she had "insufficient docility."
